6th Grade Program

All sixth grade students complete an interest inventory; they view a video to help them understand how their interests are related to a future career choice. They then answer questions about thoughts, feelings, and events in their lives that will give them powerful clues as to the kinds of careers they will enjoy and have the greatest potential for success.

They complete the Career Game, a 150-item interest inventory. Students then receive a personalized Red Hot Jobs computer-generated report extracted from the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Outlook Handbook. The printout contains information about jobs that complement their interests.
