Career Development
7th Grade Program
Students in the 7th grade take a field trip to Cuyahoga Valley Career Center to see the career and technical training available during high school. Students enjoy the day's activities, which include:
- a tour of the building to gain an understanding of the many career-technical programs availble to them once they're in high school
- computerized interest assessment, which links them to future careers
- hands-on activities that allow students to identify what they like and are good at doing
