Individual Career Plan
To set the stage for a meaningful high-school experience and possible future career, students create an Individual Career Plan (ICP).
Students will:
- view a video and discuss how aptitudes are related to future career choices
- inventory their interests, skills, and improvement areas
- identify interesting careers with the Careers for Me Plus assessment
- explore graduation requirements to decide what classes or technical training is needed to future career plans
- make the connection between interests and course selection
- view a video and discuss the impact of participating in extra-curricular activities, community service and volunteer programs
- conduct a self-assessment related to employability skills
