The Kuder Career Planning System (KCPS) is a comprehensive, research-based approach to career exploratoin, planning, and development. It is designed to be self-paced and self-interpreted. Assessments are brief and highly reliable, and the entire system is user friendly.
Kuder Career Search with Person Match (interest inventory)
The Kuder Career Search with Person Match helps individuals learn about their career interests, explore occupations beyond job titles, and effectively apply their personal interests to their career plans. The assessments available through the Kuder Career Planning System have been developed through many years of research to provide valid and reliable results. The Internet-based assessment is completed in approximately twenty minutes and provides immediate online scoring and reporting. The report provides guidance for interpreting and using your results. The report also includes the unique Person Match feature which compares assessment results to a database of nearly 2,000 individuals working in today's occupations. Career sketches for the individuals whose interests most closely match your own allow assessment takers to learn about how these individuals came to work in this occupation and why they like what they do.
Kuder Skills Assessment
The Kuder Skills Assessment is a highly reliable self-estimate of one's ability to perform work-related tasks. The results of the Kuder Skills Assessment parallel the interest results by aligning skills with career clusters, promoting occupation selection with the greatest opportunity for satisfaction and success. This assessment can be completed in approximately fifteen minutes and provides immediate scoring. The results are presented in an easy-to-understand format that allows for self-interpretation and continuing education and career exploration.
Once individuals have completed both the Kuder Career Search with Person Match interest inventory and the Kuder Skills Assessment, an additional report, the Kuder Interests and Skills Composite Report, is automatically generated. The results of both assessments are juxtaposed to provide an easy-to-understand comparison of interests and skills based on the career clusters.
Super's Work Values Inventory-revised
The work values assessment assists in determing what work characteristics are important to the assessment taker. The inventory assesses 12 work-related values and reports results immediately in order of individual preference. The online report will help to refine a potentially long list of occupation choices to those that most closely match one's work-related values. On average, the online inventory can be completed in less than fifteen minutes.
