Exploring careers with your children is a great way to help them find out what interests them. Parents and their middle and high school aged children interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM), did just that at CVCC's STEM Expo! on February 5 from 9:30 AM to noon.
Panels of professionals from a variety of STEM careers shared information about their career paths and what they do in their jobs. Attendees were able to talk to over 40 STEM professionals one-on-one, see demonstrations and participate in hands-on activities. Colleges were on hand to talk about programs they offer in STEM-related fields.
