Many people spend their working day behind the wheel of a vehicle.  Elementary students are particularly enthralled at the variety of vehicles that are necessary in some careers for people to perform their jobs. 

Vehicle Day is an activity that allows elementary students to learn about careers that use vehicles in the performance of the duties.  A wide variety of vehicles are brought to the school, and students have the opportunity to meet the professionals and talk to them about their daily routine.  They particularly enjoy the opportunity to tour the vechicles.  Some of the vehicles present are fire trucks, ambulances, police cars, race cars, cherry pickers, utility vehicles, helicopters, ice cream trucks, and more.
